Poonam is a sub specialist in Obstetric and Gynaecological ultrasound. She has trained in India, England and Australia, working for over 15 years as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She found her true calling in ultrasound while training at the Womens Hospital, Melbourne.
She won the prestigious RANZCOG Brown Craig Traveling Fellowship to St Georges Hospital in London during her training.She absolutely cherishes the continuous cinematic experience with the ultrasound probe in her hand.She is passionate about providing holistic, patient-focused care. Her extensive experience in Obstetric and Gynaecology helps her to correlate it to the ultrasound findings to maximise patient care.
She appreciates the importance of spending the time to understand each patient’s concerns, with attention to detail and compassion. She tries to create an atmosphere where patients feel comfortable expressing their problem and asking questions.She currently works in both private and public practice.

She is a foodie, always enthusiastic about trying out new cuisines. She also has big dreams to represent Australia at the Olympics – we dare you to ask her more about it.
