Panorama Prenatal Test
The Panorama Prenatal Test can be performed on singleton and twin pregnancies from 9 weeks gestation.
What does Panorama screen for?
Single Pregnancies:
- Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)
- Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome)
- Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome)
- Monosomy X (Turner syndrome)
- Sex chromosome aneuploidy
- Triploidy
Microdeletions:
- 22q syndrome (Di George syndrome)
- 1p36 deletion syndrome
- Angelman syndrome
- Prader-Willi syndrome
- Cri du Chat syndrome
Gender (optional)
Twin Pregnancies:
- Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)
- Trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome)
- Trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome)
- Monosomy X (Monozygotic Twins only)
- 22q11.2 Microdeletion (Monozygotic Twins only)
- Zygosity: Identical or non-identical
- Gender (optional) – Panorama is the only NIPT, that can distinguish between each twin’s DNA and therefore tell you whether your twins are identical (from the same egg) or fraternal or non-identical (from separate eggs) and also the gender of each twin if Monozygotic Twins
This test is performed in USA and results are available within 7 to 10 working days.
